PREVIEW: 9th F.I.G. Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships

The elite of Aerobic Gymnastics meets from June 01 to June 03 to its '9th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS' to the first time in China, in the city of Nanjing.
The participants come from 30 different countries, among of them the leading nations like Romania, France, Spain, but also the outsiders and newcomers, like India, Indonesia, Taiwan and thers.

FISAF: Piili (FIN) and Pochobradsky (TCH) won the Europaen Championships

Finland and the Czech Republic dominate the European Championships

For the repeated time the favored World Champion Tiia Piili from Finland wins the European Championships 2006 of the World Assosiation FISAF in the sport-palace from Kiew (Ukraine). Preview: FISAF-European Aerobics and Fitness Championships

In the Ukrainian capital Kiew take place this year from 18th to 20th May the 'European Aerobics and Fitness Championships 2006' from the world association FISAF. Also with the 'Worlds Junior Championships' and the 'Worlds Cadet Cup'.
The medail favorites come traditionally from Russia, from Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
The Championships will be held in the biggest sportcenter of Ukraine, in 'Sport Palace'. It is high quality and multifunctional and has place for nearly 7000 spectators.

Ivan Parejo (ESP) won Aerobic World Series in France

The last international test before the Aerobics World Championships (2nd to 4th June, Japan) won at weekend in the FIG World Series in Clermont Ferrand in France Ivan Parejo from Spain!

He won surprisingly this tournament (with the traditional French Aerobic Open) before the world rankings first Vito Iaia (ITA) and Jingping Ao (CHN). Title applicant and local matador Gregory Alcan landed only on rank 4.

In Women the brazilian Marcela Lopez sovereign on the first place....

Preview: French Open with Aerobic World Series in France

The French Gymnastics Federation invites to the 11th 'French Aerobic OPEN' including a Aerobic World Series in Clermont Ferrand (France) from 5th to 7th May.
