For half a decade, German TV media have been implementing a brilliant idea, which last week found a fantastic backdrop for the fifth time, now in the City of Dresden / Saxonia: Under the label "THE FINALS" there were hours of live broadcasts and programmes on numerous online channels covering 20 different sports and disciplines with their national championships.
This meant that artistic gymnastics, rhythmic, trampoline gymnastics and even acrobatic gymnastics were also the focus of TV broadcasts.

At the 18th FISU World University Games 2025, the artistic gymnastics competitions will take place in Exhibition Hall 3 in Essen.
After the first two days of competition for the men, JAPAN's student team won the gold medal with 252.027 points, ahead of CANADA (239.593) and SWITZERLAND (239.162). Korea, Spain and Australia followed in the rankings. The German team finished a distant 15th among the 23 complete teams.
