USA and China dominated Juniors Internationals in Yokohama

INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR COMPETITION

Alltogether 33 participants from 10 different countries took part at the important 'International Junior Gymnastics Competition' in Yokohama (JPN) Japan.

Winner of the all-around competition of male juniors was the national Chinese AA-champion Liang, Mingsheng.
He bet the Japanese Tatsuki Nakashima from the Japanese host and the Ukrainian Andrei Issaev.

GWG-Cup: Lithuanian and German winners in Cottbus

It was a new event record:
138 gymnasts from 20 countries took part at the 20th anniversary of one of the biggest European Tournament for male artistic gymnastics talents, the 'INTERNATIONAL G W G - C U P' in Cottbus, also host city of the wellknown world cup event 'Turnier der Meister' for the elites every spring.

21st Congress of UEG: Dimitropoulos re-elected!

40 federations with 105 delegates have participated in the first day's debates of the 21st UEG General Assembly, which is held in the International Convention Centre of Birmingham. The whole day was fully dedicated to statutory matters, as the elections and honorary distinctions are scheduled on Saturday. Romanian Olympians May Miss Worlds
A weekend escapade by several members of the senior women's team has put Romania's world medal chances in jeopardy in 2005, Romanian newspaper 'Gazeta Sporturilor' reported yesterday.
