With a high result from 88 votes in the first ballot, the TC President John Atkinson (GBR) has been confirmed in function last weekend at the 75th General Assembly (Congress) of FIG in Antalya/Turkey.

Last weekend World Champion Angela McMillan (NZL) won in the 'Selwyn Theatre' in Auckland/New Zealand with an outstanding new routine and 20,171 points the Aerobic National Championships 2004.
Angela McMillan was also awarded the Athlete of the Year award in front of her multitude of New Zealand fans. In the SHS-hall in Wörgl (Austria) sold out with one thousand spectator became also today in the final competition of the '3rd Austrian Aerobic Open' high-carat sport presents. In the Individual Women the favorite Janka Daubner won clearly and at the Individual Men surprisingly Laszlo Koeteles (both Germany).
Especially well from Austrian point of view: the ÖFT national team performed the connection in this young 'Power trend sport' at the international level in record suspicious short time.

Altogether 13 nations come from 9th until 10th October on invitation of the Austrian Federation of Gymnastics (ÖFT) to the 3rd Austrian Aerobic Open and 5th National Championships - including Youth Championships.
Almost 250 athletes of all age groups and categories will be this weekend in Wörgl (Tirol) at the start: Aerobic athletes out of Bulgaria, Moldavia, Netherlands, Rumania, Russia, Slovakia, White Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Thailand and India (!).

Rishab Dev won the gold medal in the Aerobic Competition ('Individual Boys') at the 32nd Gymnastics Championships in Chandigarh (India) being held at the ITBP gymnasium hall. Silver to Sudip Dep (KV School-31) and 3rd place to Devjit Sharma (GHS Behlana). In the Trio´s claimed gold medals also Sudip Dep with Mohan Singh and Vanrinder Singh (GHS, Behlana).
