5th European Championships Aerobic Gymnastics 2007- Romanians most successfully at the end...!.

Since 1999, the European Gymnastics Union UEG has been organizing the European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics.
This year's 5th European Championships were held in the Hungarian city of Szombathely.
From 2007 November 23rd to 25th, more than 600 gymnasts competed for continental  titles, points and medals in the elite and juniors' categories, but also in the so called "age group competitions" for talents at the age of 12 to 14 years.

FISAF-ECh: Gold for Jonatan Canada (ESP) and Rita Niemi (FIN)

400 Aerobic-athletes from a total of 13 countries performed for the strict judges at the weekend at the FISAF European Championships in Lloret de Mar (Spain).

Performing with supreme confidence and perfect technique, Rita Niemi from Finland won the individual title, beating Silvie Galikova (CZE) and Denisa Baresova (CZE). Dassaeva (ESP) and Ao (CHN) win Gymnastic Aerobics Finals

The twenty year old Spaniard Elmira Dassaeva - best of the 2005 World Games - was the surprise winner of the F.I.G. World Cup Final (2005-07) in Rodez, France, in front of  Arianna Ciucci from Italy.
The title of the men's category went to the world champion (FIG) from China, Ao, Jiping.
The Italian mixed pair Giovanna Lecis / Wilkie Satti Sanches beat the pairs from France (Aurelie Joly/Julien Chaninet) and China (Jinxuan/Shijian).

III. International Club Meeting of Aerobic Gymnastics

The small city of Eisenberg in the green German federal state of Thuringia organized a big Aerobic Gymnastics event last weekend, the "3rd International Club Meeting 2007" and 160 athletes, representing 23 clubs from six different European nations, took part and experienced strong Czech gymnasts but also British victories:
