ACRO International Judges’ Course in Lithuania

* fig-press: -- The Lithuanian Acrobatic Federation hosted a FIG International Judge’s Course February 8 – 13, 2009 for Acrobatic Gymnastics in Visaginas City.
17 participants from five FIG Member Federations (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Israel, and Lithuania) took part in the course and studied diligently to receive an International Brevet.

2009 World Games - TEST EVENTS 2008: Ukraine won four of five acrobatic events

Gymnastics Acrobatics at the Test Events ...

At the 2008 Test events of the next years WORLD GAMES in Kaohsiung, Taipeh, Ukraine's acrobates won four of the acrobatic gymnastics finals, the men's and mixed pairs, and the men's but also the women's groups decision.

Winner of the women's pairs final was Russia in front of the Ukraine .

21st WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of Acrobatic Gymnastics finished

The 21st ACROBATIC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008
took place October 10 - 12 in the Kelvin Hall of Glasgow and ends with the Sunday's finals:
Russia won the men's and women's groups, the mixed pair and also the team competition and was once again the most successfull nation.
Ukraine (men's pair) and Belarus (women's pair) won the other two gold medals.
Host Great Britain won silver in the team event
