Khorkina and Kabaeva: Putin s Babes

.... the new faces of Russian politics
Vladimir Putin has succeeded in 'sexing-up' the image of his United Russia party as a result of last month's Russian parliamentary elections.
So the principal ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Svetlana Zakharova and no fewer than four former athletes turned topless models to become deputies in the Duma, now:
Svetlana Khorkina, 28, Olympic champion  and numerous world champion of artistic gymnastics and also Alina Kabaeva, 24, Olympic champion of rhythmic gymnastics - known for her extreme flexibility, are on top ranks of Putin's party lists "United Russia", just like the Olympic speed skating champion  Svetlana Zhurova, 35, who says...she entered politics because "youth is our future".
