At the last Executive Committee (EC) meeting of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) held in March 2006, the President of the Trampoline Technical Commitee Erik Juhl Mogensen, had proposed to organize the European Cup for Clubs as a test event in Odense/DEN in 2007.

Canadian's international trampolining star Karen Cockburn won two gold medals in event finals to conclude the Canadian gymnastics championships at Universite Laval’s PEPS.
In trampoline and tumbling, two-time Olympic medallist Karen Cockburn of Toronto reclaimed the women’s trampoline crown and added a victory in synchronized trampoline with Rosie MacLennan of Toronto.
