At the 2008 Test events of the next years WORLD GAMES in Kaohsiung, Taipeh, Russia's athletes are on top at the trampoline disciplines:
In women's synchronized trampoline the pair Anastasia Velichko / Victoria Voronina won in front of the Ukrainian pair Marina Kyiko / Natalia Moskvina;

in women's tumbling Anna Kobeeynikova beat Olena Chabanenko and in men's category was won by Andrei Krylenko, followed by Yuri Freyuk, from Ukraine.

the first event in Loule (PORT).

At the 9th and last Trampoline World Cup Final of the history the last decisions took placein Togliatti, Russia:
On Friday and in absence of the Olympic Champion Lu, Chunlong his Chinese teammate DONG, Dong won the men's individual, followed by the 2004 Olympic Champion Yuri Nikitin and the Japanese Yasuhiro Ueyama.
