we met You in BEIJING 2008: ... a big Success for Janssen-Fritsen, too!

The top-class performances seen in the gymnastics disciplines at the Olympic Games are significantly influenced, and indeed made possible, by the state of development of the high-tech equipment used in these sports.
In a constant process of interchange between training and competition, as well as regular exchanges of experience between the world's best gymnasts, clubs and technicians from the world's leading apparatus manufacturers, ultra-modern pieces of equipment have been designed, without which the breath-taking performances on the Olympic podium would not be possible.
Dutch Co. Janssen-Fritsen was the leading trademarks that were in evidence in Beijing:
* TODAY: -- GYMmedia exclusive interview (3) with the junior boss of the label "Janssen-Fritsen", Jacques Janssen ...:

Jacques JANSSEN (NED)

Mr. Jacques JANSSEN, sen., talking with the German expert Ludwig Schweizer

Jacques Janssen: ---  "The best visible new developments are the 'Apollo Diagonal Floor', a revolutionary new design which offers the gymnasts homogenity over the entire floor surface thanks to the J&F Cross Flex technology and the new generation springbaords 'Iris' and 'Kreon'. T
he Carbon fiber sandwich construction of these boards allows for strength with very little mass, making the effective return of energy to the gymnast very high compared to traditional spring boards. Minimizing body impact ist he major theme in equipment development."

The Janssen&Fritsen Team of top specialists in Beijing made a very good and a successfully job of a truly Olympic level!

GYMmedia: ---  Does the average person or gym club that does not do elite programs in gymnastics benefit form these innovations?

Jacques Janssen:
---  "Yes like in car racing, the new developments at the top are integrated in general gymnastic and physical education equipment. Different form formula 1 race cars however is that top gymnatics equipment is affordable and can very well be used by the average gym club."

Chinese female gymnasts who competed at this year'sBeijing Olympics were not underage, the sport's governing body said Wednesday after investigating claims the Games hosts fielded ineligible athletes.
The International Gymnastics Federation (F.I.G.) had asked the Chinese federation to submit documents proving the birthdates of five members of the gold medal-winning team, He Kexin, Jiang Yuyuan, Li Shanshan, Deng Linlin and Yang Yilin.
