3rd Course Vault The third introduction course of the new International Regulations of Vault will be held on 1st April (10:00 – 18:00) in Leverkusen, Germany

Wheel Gymnastics Courses Vault successfully finished

Wheel Gymnastics also with new code elements
The new international regulations of vault were successfully taught within two trainings courses in Switzerland and Norway. The participants came to the agreement, that the new rules are just and reasonable. A third course will take place in Leverkusen, Germany. The new rules will be introduced for the first time at the "World Team Cup" in Flensburg and Trappenkamp (Germany) at the beginning of April.....

New Code for JUMP
The International Federation of Wheel Gymnastics (IRV) announced, that from the beginning of new year 2006 new rules are valid for the discipline JUMP!
Furthermore international courses for judges will held in Switzerland, Norway and Germany...

10th Anniversary of International Wheel Gymnastics Federation (IRV)

On the edge of the Gala of the TSB Flensburg the IRV celebrated on 12th of November its ceremony of the "10th anniversary of the "International Federation of Wheel Gymnastics" (IRV):
Several guests of honour, coming from the different member states, complied the invitation. ..
New face at the IRV and further plannings for next year
At the meeting, a new person was appointed. Dirk Balkenohl (GER) will be responsible for public relations of the IRV.
Many people know him as an activ gymnast and as a coordinator of excellent competitions (e.g. WC-qualification 2001- Arnsberg GER).
He is an interior architect, living and working in Hanover (GER).
Starting with wheelgymnastics in 1988 he took part in several german championships and even belonged to the national team of Germany at the WC in Switzerland 2001.
The predecessor of Dirk was Sigrun Leisner (Wuppertal/GER) , which withdraw herself from the honorary post as a Vice-President in cause of personal reasons.

24 wheel gymnasts from three different clubs in Israel took part in the training camp in Haifa/ISR in the beginning of August. Therefore three German trainers, Markus Schlosser, Ines Meurer and Sigrun Leisner, have been invited.
The training was focused specially on the disciplines spiral and vault....

6th World Champs of WHEEL GYMNASTICS: Japanese Success... but Germany dominated!

Wheel Gymnastics - more and more with internartional character!
The bronze medallist of all-around competition, the Japanese Takako Hiwa won Gold and Silver in Senior`s Final of the 6th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of WHEEL GYMNASTICS: Gold in the discipline ault and the silver medal in straight line final
The German Janin Oer is the new world Champion in straight line, and her teammate Nadine Burkhardt won the gold medal in the spiral final.
In the men's finals Achus Emeis (GER) became the most successful gymnast: After all-around he also won the gold medals in straight-line and vault. Constantin Malchin (GER) won gold in the vault final.

Germany wins Gold at Team Competition
As in the All Around Competitions Germany (64.90 P.) today at night won the gold medal at the world team competition. Switzerland took the 2nd place (57.70 P.). Japan placed third (57.30 P.). The 6th World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics closed with a big party with all participants this night....

Wheel Gymnastics grow up to an International discipline more and more:
Victory Ceremony: Gold for Takako HIWA (JPN), followed by Janine OER (GER), and C?cile Meschberger (SUI)

Wheel Gymnastics: German Juniors unbeatably!Lausa Stullich wins all gold medals!

Laura Stullich (GER) won gold in all final disciplines

Against the pressure from Isreal and the Netherlands the German Laura Stullich is the new World champion of the 6th Junior World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics in Buetbenbach/Belgium, won the titles in all final junior’s disciplins and realized the total triumph!
Tamar Gross from Israel won the silver medal in straightline. Anne Pursche / GER placed third. Linde Wester from the Netherlands won the silver medal in vault and is placed third in the spiral final.

After winning the all-around title Simon Knapp /GER wonI the Junior’s boys finals in vault and spiral . His teammate Robert Maaser - the youngst participant (14 years) from Germany is the new title holder of the discipline straight line ....

Paul Sieler- New President of IRV

In the realm of the 6th World Championships in wheelgymnastics the 6th General Assembly of the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION of WHEEL GYMNASTICS (IRV) took place on 3rd May 2005 in Buetgenbach / Belgium. Therefore the delegates from the member countries Austria, Belgium, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland came to Belgium.
One of the main items on the agenda was the election of a new president to replace Franz Obry, who stood down as president in 2004 in order to focus on national obligations in Germany. The General Assembly gave voted unanimously for Paul Sieler, who was nominated by DTB / Germany.

PREVIEW: 6th World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics

The 6th World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics will take place in Buetgenbach/Belgium and Aachen/Germany, 2005 May from 3 – 7. Ten fifferent nations with a total of 85 competitors have registered for the championships: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and USA.
In the team competition the reigning world champion, Germany, will meet teams from Japan, Norway and Switzerland.

The IRV will be celebrating its 10th anniversary during the World Championships. An exhibition will trace the most important stages of development over the last 10 years.
The General Assembly of the International Rhönrad Federation (IRV) will be held on 3rd May 2005.....
