LUISINA R O S A S, ArgentinaThe first Latin American joining Wheel Gymnastics Worlds

To the first time in history a Latin American competitor will take part at World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics. which will held this year in Germany (Ansbach Mai 31 - June 05).
<<  Luisina ROSAS recently made it through the qualifications by reaching the required score at the 2011 USA Open Wheel Gymnastics Championships, on March 12th, 2011.
Luisina placed 2nd all-around in the Women’s category for the second consecutive year.
Her routines, specifically spiral and vault, seem to have very good chances of reaching the finals at the World Championships this June.
Luisina Rosas is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She started training at the age of 6, first as a gymnast, and then later moved to study Circus Arts when she was 15. At 14 she saw her first wheel gymnastics performance, and immediately began to search for classes in the sport classes in Buenos Aires

GYMNASTIC WHEELS CAPTURE THE WORLD!
Gymnastic Wheel in Mar del Plata.

In less than one year, thanks to her exceptional talents, Luisina was already performing and coaching students all around Argentina. She reached the highest level within the Wheel Gymnastics field in her country, but that wasn’t enough for Luisina’s desire to succeed.
Even though nobody in Argentina was capable to give her further wheel gymnastics education, that didn’t stop Luisina from pursuing her dream of becoming an outstanding wheel gymnastics coach and performer world-wide.

Luisina has been living in the USA since August of 2009, after being personally invited by the 8-time World Champion Wolfgang Bientzle to train under him. He was struck by her exceptional ability, extensive experience, and remarkable personal drive.
Since that time she has been actively volunteering all over Chicago and its suburbs with the USA Wheel Gymnastics Federation as a certified coach, as well as a professional performer.

As Assistant National Coach of the USA
and with Mr. Bientzle, Luisina is co-leading an amazing and unique wheel gymnastics program, which is helping develop, grow, and improve both the sport and spectacle of wheel gymnastics in the USA and the world.

Due to her efforts this program is becoming very successful because it embraces the large Latin-American Community, thanks primarily to Luisina’s bilingual skills.

A Gymwheel and the World: Taunusstein one attraction richer ...

They don't only have good gymwheel gymnasts, the Taunussteiners, they also have Oswald Zimmermann - a gymwheel constructor of the highest class, who always has surprises up his sleeve:
The latest result of his renomated and above all creative idea-pool is now standing on the roof of his gymwheel workshop in Bleidenstadt, the biggest suburb of the city Taunusstein in Hesse (Germany).
<< A stylised globe, in which the gymwheel artist including his gymwheel shows himself, sometimes hidden, sometimes in the foreground, depending on from which side one views the "artwork".

The idea came from a cooperation with Franz Obry, the representative of Germany's "Development Association of Wheel Gymnastics" ...

* ... is it an 'artistically stork's nest' or what...??
By no means ...!!

The 'Zimmermann-globe...!

... because in the end the less expensive artwork of an artist from near  Glan-Münchweilers was chosen.
(* ... see> GYMmedia-News from the 1. Feb. 2010)

Oswald Zimmermann
took this with ease, as is his character, now ordered a crane and mounted his sculpture on his roof.

It was not enough for the roundabout but one can see it in the narrow  Bleidenstädter alleys from all angles around the world known gymwheel workshop, whose "German Hightech" -sports apparatus "ORIGINAL ZIMMERMANN" are ordered from all parts of the world.

International gymwheel aces at the IRV-seminar

It is a good tradition, that the International Wheel Gymnastics Federation (IRV) is inviting to an achievement seminar with international participation in the week after the WORLD TEAM CUP.
After the world elite met in the Palatine Wolfstein, one chose Taunusstein this year.
Not without reason, because it is there where the wheel gymnastics club of the TSV Bleidenstadt holds the yearly so-called "Easter seminar".
Why should one not do something in combination then, especially since the "wheel gym guru", the many time  former world champion Wolfgang Bientzle (GER) came all the way from Chicago to give forth his knowledge and experience as a teacher.
But it was not only a seminar for the actives.

Advent surprise of the Gymwheel-Development Association: Who will win the christmas wheel...?

.... with the advent calendar-tombola for a new gymwheel
The gymwheel development association thought of something very special for this years advent time:
  An advent calendar-tombola!

The reason is very simple:

With the payment of 5,-  Euro onto the account of the development association between the 1st and the 24th December 2009, one can take part in the advent-calendar tombola and could possibly, with a bit of luck, find a brand new gymwheel beneath the christmas tree ...

Who will win the christmas wheel...?

* Further participation conditions:
Everyone in and out of the country can take part, who at least once pays 5 Euros to the account of the development association between the 1st and the 24th of December 2009.
One can raise the chances of winning, if one pays more than once on the same day or on different days during the course of the tombola participation of 1. -24. December.
*Naming of the winner:
After the end of the advent tombola the winner of the gymwhell will be named in the following manner: in a first draw the day will be drawn on which the participation fee was credited to the gymwheel development association account. For example if the number 15 is drawn only the participants whose participation fees were credited to the account of the gymwheel development association on the 15. Dezember 2009.

After this, in a second round the clear winner will be drawn amongst the participants, who "played" (whose participation fees were credited on the gymwheel development association account) on this particular day (in our example the 15th of December).

The naming of the winner will be public!

Date and time will be made known in the newsletter of the development association / and on the website  www.gymmedia.de in due course.
* Further prize:
Of courser
! there is only one gymwheel to be won.
But behind each advent calendar window a further prize will await the daily winner.

* Whoever is fast with the transfer of the participation fee,  may have already won, before others get to know about the tombola.

** We are doing a raffle every day  among the participation fees, which are credited to the account of the gymwheel development association, a further prize, which will automatically be sent to the winner in the post.
!!!  It is absolutely necessary , that the participant writes the address of the participant on the money transfer form.

Now it is your go dear gymwheel gymnasts!!!
Go and get the „christmas wheel “!!!!!
