German Wheel Nationals: Petri and Pohling most successful

At the German Championships last Saturday in Neumarkt/St. Veit, the favourites Julia Pohling (SV Neuhof) and Julius Petri (TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt) won the titles in all-around category.
Whereas Julia Pohling lay ahead clearly, Julius Petri won by a narrow margin, just 0.025 points ahead of Constantin Malchin (SV Rugenbergen). Friederike Schindler (TSV Marburg-Ockershausen), eight times junior world champion, seemed to be beaten by her overwrought nerves and failed in two of the four exercises. She became only sixth and abandoned the finals because of an injury. Janin Oer (VfB Fallersleben), world-champion in straight-on an spiral, won again these two disciplines and became vice-champion in all-around, third became Nadine Burkhardt (TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt).
