FIG World Cup Circuit Rhythmic Gymnastics 2025

A triple serie of the FIG World Cup season in rhythmic gymnastics kicked off the post-Olympic year in Bulgaria's capital Sofia from April 04 to 06. The season will be completed in April next with the events in Baku / AZE and now in Tashkent / UZB.
This will be followed by the World Challenge Cups in Portimao / POR at the beginning of May and, after the European Championships in Estonia (Tallinn), now the 4th World Cup in Milan / ITA. A final Challenge Cup at the end of July will take on special significance four weeks before the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro / BRA (- from 20 August) ...:

2nd WORLD Challenge CUP 2025 - Cluj Napoca / ROU; 25.-27. Juli


Vorfolomeev (GER) ahead of Onofriitchuk (UKR), Sumkin (ISR) and Raffaeli (ITA) led the order of the leading quartet in the all-around competition.
In the finals, Tissiia ONOFRIICHUK won two hand apparatus with clubs and ribbon.
Israel's Metal Maayan SIMKIN prevailed with the hoop, and Olympic champion Darja VARFOLOMEEV (GER) won the ball final. Italy's Sofia Raffaeli did not win any medals this time.

In the group competition, Spain prevailed over Poland and Israel in the all-around competition, while the German group finished 14th out of 17 formations.
Spain also won the 5 hoop final ahead of Poland and Bulgaria, as well as the combination exercise ahead of Poland and Italy.
The German girls finished fifth in the hoop final.

1st WORLD Challenge CUP 2025 - Portimao / POR; May 09 - 11


 This first World Challenge Cup of the year in Portimao, Portugal, turned into a veritable Harnasko festival:
Belarusian Alina Harnasko (AIN) not only won the all-around competition but also achieved total triumph by winning all four apparatus events. However, the most important favourites were missing from this event, such as Varfolomeev from Germany, Nikilovo from Bulgaria and Raffaeli from Italy.
The best German in the all-around competition was Schmidens Anastasia Simakova (108.100 / 7th). Victoria Steinfeld achieved a respectable success, winning bronze with the ball.

2nd WORLD CUP 2025 - Baku / AZE;  April 18.-20. April


Germany's Olympic champion Darja Varfolomeev will be making her World Cup debut in the post-Olympic year, accompanied by her German team-mates Lada Pusch and Viktoria Steinfeld. Her toughest competitors will include Stiliana Nikolova (BUL), Sofia Raffaeli (ITA), Taisilia Onofriichuk (UKR) and Alina Harnasko (AIN)....
