Following the 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships for women and men in Leipzig, now the ECh's for Europe's best female rhythmic gymnasts will follow almost seamlessly in the first week of June (4–8 June 2025). For the first time, the Estonian capital Tallinn is hosting such a major gymnastics event.
In Tallinn's ‘Unibet Arena’, last year's European champion Stiliana NIKOLOVA from Bulgaria was pushed into second place by Taisia ONOFRIICHUK from Ukraine. Germany's ‘Sportswoman of the Year’ and Olympic champion from Paris 2024, Darja VARFOLOMEEV, won the all-around bronze medal again, as she did last year.
With the hand apparatus hoop and ribbon, she goes into the final day (Sunday, June 08) as the best in the preliminary round and has promising prospects in two apparatus finals.

♦ JECh groups:
The junior group from UKRAINE with Ahata Bilenko, Marharyta Melnyk, Anastasiia Nikolenko, Taisiia Redka, Oleksandra Nikol Samoukina and Kateryna Shershen won their first gold medal with a combined score of 48.200 points (5 hoops + 5 pairs of clubs), but only by a razor-thin margin of +0.250 points ahead of SPAIN, which won silver.
