37th International DTB Cup 2022

After a two-year break due to corona, the traditional event of the International DTB Cup 2022 will be continued with the 37^th edition, but no longer with World Cup status, but with e.g. T. significant profile changes:
From March 18 to 20, the Swabian organizers are offering new competition formats:
So there are still the so-called team challenges for men and women, which, however, have been expanded to include both junior categories for the first time. There will be separate individual apparatus finals for the international elite as well as for the juniors too.
As a world premiere, a crowning International Mixed Cup - a four-country competition with 3 women and three men each - concludes this attractive multi-gym weekend on the last day of competition, to which host Germany has invited teams from the USA, Italy and Canada.
Overall, athletes from 14 guest nations are expected in the Porsche Arena of Stuttgart, with 12 participating in the men's team challenge and 9 in the women's team competition.
* Of the 12 nations of the Olympic Family, the men are missing China, Japan, Ukraine, Brazil, Taipei and Korea as well as the suspended Russia and the women France, Belgium and also the suspended Russians. But it will be interesting to see many new, ambitious faces who want to make a name for themselves internationally at the start of the new Olympic cycle...
