24th International Latvian Veterans Open 2025

For almost a quarter of a century, a special gymnastics tournament for older athletes has been held in Latvia's capital:
At the 24th International Latvian Veterans Open in 2025, all participants (aged 25 and above for women and 30 and above for men) were once again winners, as they can all call themselves ‘victors over themselves’.
Those who have decided to integrate physical and mental gymnastics into their everyday lives not only remain competitive, but also actively shape their everyday fitness in the second half of their lives. The this year's competitors came from Italy, Estonia, Moldova and Germany and met the Latvian hosts from the Latvian Gymnastics Federation and the Riga Gymnastics School ...

♦ In addition to the sporting competition ...,
... determined in the respective age categories for men born between 1950 and 2000 and for women (1960–1977), the focus of the two days of competition and the Whitsun weekend was on the friendly encounters that have developed over the years and which have become fixed dates in the travel calendars of the guests!
♦ The hosts would be delighted to welcome more guests next year, the 25th anniversary of this competition tradition, especially as age-appropriate gymnastics is once again gaining popularity in Western European countries and this international Latvian event charmingly enriches the world calendar!
