44th WOMEN's WORLDS of Artistic Gymnastics 2025

* Today: - the first 3 subdivisions of qualifying

For the first time, Indonesia will host the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships for men and women in its metropolis of Jakarta, home to 11 million people.
From October 19 to 25, the 53rd World Championships for men will determine the champions in the all-around and on the six apparatus. There will be no team competition between nations.
* Today, Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 October, the qualifiers for the 44th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS for WOMEN with the first decision (all-around) being made on Thursday (October 23). However, like the men's competition, these championships are marred by an entry boycott for Israeli athletes, who will then join the men on the final two days to determine the world's best on their four final apparatus.

* Interim report, day 1: After the first three rounds, Japan's Aiko Sughara (54.099), Algeria's Kaylia Nemour (53.865) and Germany's Karina Schönmaier (52.131) lead the all-around standings. They are followed by Rina Kshi (JPN), Naomi Visser (NED), Kaia Tanskanen (FIN) and the two German gymnasts Silja Stöhr (50.731) and Jesenia Schäfer (49.731). Conclusions about possible qualifications can only be drawn on Tuesday after the end of the 10th round.
