The Philippines host junior gymnasts from across the globe for the 3rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships, set for November 20 to 24 at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
Organized by the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines and sanctioned by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU), the meet will feature men’s artistic gymnasts aged 16 to 18 and women’s artistic gymnasts aged 14 to 16.

ALL-AROUND FINAL - :
The young Russian Arsenii DUKHNO (AIN) was the best performer of the day on the floor, pommel horse and parallel bars, deservedly winning the boys' all-around gold medal with 82.031 points.
Only two other Asian athletes exceeded the 60-point mark behind him: Nao OJIMA (JPN) won silver (81.799) and YANG Labin (CHN) took the bronze medal with 81.099 points.
Here, too, a US boy came fourth in the pursuit: Danila Leykin (79.966) ahead of Italy's Simone Speranza (79.032).

The first medals in the team competition were awarded based on the total scores of the three athletes from each of the 36 participating nations.

France, Great Britain and Italy followed in the rankings.
Team Austria trailed by a considerable 16 points in 17th place, ahead of Team Germany in 18th place.

ALL-AROUND FINAL -: Of the trio from the preliminary round, the third was the only gymnast to improve in the final: Japan's Yume MINAMINO won the all-around gold medal with 53.632 points, followed by Elena COLAS (FRA; 53.298), who had been the best in the preliminary round, and Misa NISHIYAMA (JPN; 53.066) in bronze medal position.
The two US girls Lavienna Crain (52.399) and Caroline Moreau (51.599) followed in pursuit.
